Hope springs forth like an oasis in the desert at
Life Christian Academy at Palmyra. The school is located in what was
formerly the Palmyra Elementary School operated by the Dougherty County
School System, hence the “Palmyra” retained in the name. Word studies
indicate that a “palmyra” is somewhat similar to an oasis, where water
comes back to the surface in a dry, desert climate. Life Christian
Academy at Palmyra was founded in order to give Christian children hope
and a refuge from a system that does not allow God in the classroom, and
becomes more anti-Christian each year. |
